Talking 大師兄 BIG BROTHER and 肥龙过江 ENTER THE FAT DRAGON and more with that Donnie Yen 甄子丹

 Been a fan of Donnie Yen's work since i first saw him in action in Yuen Woo-ping's DRUNKEN TAI CHI, and come on a breakdance martial arts movie like MISMATCHED COUPLES always brings a smile to the face, and the triple whammy of his Yuen Woo-ping modern day trilogy with TIGER CAGE, IN THE LINE OF DUTY 4 and TIGER CAGE 2 cemented his place amongst many a martial arts movie fan.

I met Donnie for the first time days after i'd first settled in Hong Kong when i got to attend a midnight premiere of Sammo Hung's SKINNY TIGER FATTY DRAGON, and Donnie and his team including Michael Woods and John Salvitti were there. introductions where made and over the years i've been lucky enough to interview Donnie on numerous occassions and work with him on a variety of projects infront and behind the camera including ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, CHASING THE DRAGON, BIG BROTHER and more.

 2025, Time to blog again?
